Yesterday, the Prime Minister made a statement that schools will not fully open after February half term but he hopes they can resume from 8th March 2021. This decision will depend on vaccination rates and schools and families will have two weeks’ notice before all children are welcomed back into school.
This therefore means that remote learning will continue until at least Friday 5th March. Those children who are currently attending school can continue to attend. As per government instruction, school will be closed to all children over February half term.
We have received increased requests for Critical Worker children to attend school from next week. We shall continue to monitor requests for places but may need to begin restricting attendance to match the working patterns of parents and carers. If this becomes the case, we shall contact parents to discuss this with them. Thank you.
