Attendance
At Mackie Hill Junior and Infants School, we believe that good attendance is crucial to enabling children achieve their potential.
Every week, each class competes in our Mackie Hill Attendance League, where two random classes go head to head to compete. This encourages a sense of collective responsibility. The overall winners of the league receive the attendance trophy.
Any class who achieves 96% or above receives a virtual attendance token, which can be redeemed in a number of ways. Our School Council take suggestions from the whole school before deciding on the prizes and treats.
