In order to keep everyone safe in school it is vital that we are aware of any positive cases or testing for coronavirus within your household. I am thankful for the swift communication we have received from parents so far as this is ensuring we are keeping our whole community safe and well.
If your child or a member of your household has symptoms of COvid-19 inform school as soon as possible and isolate while you access a test and receive the test results.
If your child or a member of your household has a positive test from either a rapid response test (lateral flow or LFT), after testing at a testing site, or after completing a postal test please inform school as soon as possible. If your child is in school, you will need to arrange for them to be collected immediately. During school hours, you can telephone the school office on 01924 303520 and out of school hours, including weekends, you can email Mrs Elliott using admin@mackiehill.wakefield.sch.uk Mark the email URGENT-POSITIVE TEST in the subject box and Mrs Elliott will telephone you to gather further information.
