School has been asked to share the updated symptoms, listed below, with families. If your child displays any of these symptoms they must be tested to reduce the transmission of Covid-19. We will be assisting families who display these symptoms in getting a test.

COVID-19 Symptoms

We all know these symptoms should trigger PCR testing in anyone, anytime and anyplace:

• Fever
• New, continuous cough
• Loss of change to smell or taste

In addition, these are the symptoms that are considered as COVID symptoms in a person who test positive for COVID to identify date of onset retrospectively AND during an outbreak situation, these symptoms should be considered as a trigger for staying out of school/work and go for PCR testing:

• Loss of appetite
• Diarrhoea
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Extreme tiredness
• Headaches
• Joint pain
• Muscle ache
• Runny nose
• Sneezing
• Sore throat
• Altered consciousness
• Seizures
